Often you will hear writers talk about head hopping in a story – switching from one POV to another, which can confuse the heck out of a reader. Lately I’ve been story hopping – switching from one WIP to another when I hit plot holes. This is not an efficient way to write. Since I’m a pantser and not a plotter, my brain gets completely clogged trying to remember all the little character and plot details.
Yesterday I picked one story and firmly set the other two aside. I made a vow not to touch the other WIP’s until I hit the end of this one. We’ll see how that works out J. Right now I’m about 10,000 words into this manuscript…so I still have miles to go before I sleep.
Last Friday my novel, Ready to Take a Chance Again released. According to my publisher’s website it is sitting on top of their bestsellers this month. Yahoo!!! Of course this is a fluid chart, so it will likely move out of that position soon.
